Bard AI, also known as Gemini since February 2024, is a large language model chatbot developed by Google AI. It was first launched with limited access in March 2023.

Using Bard AI (currently known as Gemini) is relatively straightforward. Here’s a breakdown:

1. Access: There are two main ways to interact with Bard:
   • Website: Visit the website.
   • Mobile App: Get the app on your phone or tablet (this might depend on where you live).
2. Sign In: You’ll need a Google account to sign in and use Bard.
3. Ask Your Questions: After logging in, you will see a box where you can type your questions or prompts. Write the queries in everyday language, similar to how you should ask a friend.
4. Get Answers: Bard will analyze your prompt and generate a response. Depending on your prompt, it might be an informative answer to your question, a creative text format you requested, or a translation.
5. Interact with Responses: Here are some ways to interact with Bard’s responses:
   • Thumbs Up/Down: You can give a thumbs up if the response is helpful, inaccurate or unhelpful. This helps Gemini learn and improve.
   • Ask Follow-up Questions: If the response isn’t exactly what you want, you can ask follow-up questions to refine your search.
   • Use “Google It” Feature: If the information comes from the web, you’ll see a “Google It” button. Clicking it will take you directly to the relevant source on the web.
6. Additional Features:
   • Microphone: You can use the microphone icon to speak your questions instead of typing.
   • Multiple Drafts: Sometimes, Bard generates multiple draft responses. You can see these by clicking the arrow next to the response box.
